The Ramsey County community is invited to learn more about the Rice Creek Commons redevelopment site in Arden Hills, formerly known as the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP). This event is hosted by the Joint Development Authority and will provide interested community members with an introduction to the project and a recap of the overall vision for the site. City and county staff and project partners will also give presentations. Informational stations will be set up with visuals and related materials for attendees to explore, learn and ask questions about the different components of Rice Creek Commons. City and county staff and project partners will be available to answer questions and provide detailed information on various topics, which include: Current and proposed development plans. Land use and zoning for the site. Housing and homeownership opportunities. Parks, trails and open spaces. Renewable and sustainable energy vision. Bicycle and pedestrian improvements. Traffic, roadway and infrastructure planning. Environmental safety and cleanup. Commercial development and business opportunities.
